Since coming back to the UK, I had been doing so well in not bowing to anyone, but one just popped out - fail.
Squeaky, who seems to think that the best way into the house is not by the catflap on the ground floor, but up the fence, along a roof, up the conservatory, and in through my bedroom window, while loudly meowing the whole time.
I bought a takoyaki grill in Tokyo. I bought a power converter in the UK, which doesn’t seem to work. So, having prepared all my ingredients for takoyaki, I was desperate to use them. So, using a diffuser and a cupcake tray, I was able to make something resembling takoyaki on the hob of my cooker. Not perfect, but taste exactly the same! \(^o^)/ I’m going to buy a proper stovetop takoyaki plate soon!
I just saw a TV show presented by Mr. T - ‘Lots of Fools’, I think it was called.

Strong Zero is an 8% alcohol drink in Japan. The first sip of the can is always a bit sharp, but after that, it goes down a treat. Thinking about the taste reminds me of some of the great nights I had in Japan, like the dorm nomikais, drinking at Damir’s or at a uni party, and many-a-night in our favourite Tokyo club, Camelot!
